Caring for your jewelry.

Treat our jewelry as you would any other gold or silver jewelry. If you are not wearing it, keep it in a dry well ventilated place.

You may use the commercial jewelry cleaner of your choice, keeping in mind to take special precaution with soft stones such as Pearl, Opal, Malachite, and Amber. These stones can not withstand extreme heat or harsh chemicals.

A polish cloth works well in most instances

My preference is to use a house hold method:

First scrub the piece gently with a soft bristle toothbrush and a good grease cutting dish soap using comfortably warm water to remove any lotion residue that may have accumulated. Rinse well.

Line a cooking pot with aluminum foil, shiny side up, fill pot with equal parts baking soda and salt. 4 tablespoons of each in 2 cups of water, stir. get  solution hot until it begins to fizz, add your jewelry and mix it around for a few minutes. the dirt and tarnish will actually transfer to the foil. Rinse and dry well (we use a blow dryer) Rub shiny with polishing cloth. - This method works best but you must keep in mind that extreme heat can damage soft stones.
